On October 2nd, TCC attended the ribbon cutting for The Indiana Innovation Institute’s (IN3) new collaboration space at the WestGate Academy Conferencing and Training Center. The space includes more than 1,000 square feet of office and conference rooms with an additional 8,000 square feet of warehouse space that is being considered for a possible maker space.
The Indiana Innovation Institute (IN3), is an applied research institute that brings together top leaders from government, military, industry and research universities in collaboration with Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane).
Recently, TCC joined the INdiana Consortium for Advanced Technology Transition (INCATT), launched by IN3. INCATT is a consortium of entities that have the capability to solve difficult technical problems in microelectronics, hypersonics, electronic warfare and other advanced technologies.
Both the collaboration space and the creation of INCATT are meant to bolster economic development across Indiana but specifically in the Indiana Uplands region.
