Location: Indianapolis IN
Responsible for the overall Security of the organization’s Information Technology systems. Establishes, plans, and administers the policies and procedures for the information security function. Implements and develops information security programs to ensure compliance with organization, customer, client standards. Performs and evaluates risk on a periodic schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization.
Essential Duties:
• Creates organizational System Security Plan (SSP)
• Involved in creation of organizational Disaster Recovery Plan
• Develops, establishes and audits polices to protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of data, systems, networks
• Tracks security compliance throughout entire organization
• Conduct vulnerability scans, analyze and prioritize results
• Acts as lead for third-party security and compliance audits
• Ensures that security related controls and policies are followed
• Creates standardized system configuration policies to ensure system and data integrity
• Evaluates risks and threats to organizational and client infrastructure, systems and data
• Ensures periodic organization wide security and compliance training is conducted for all employees
• Conducts internal IT security reviews and investigations
• Tracks and reports on security related issues and incidents
• Provides insight as needed to business development teams for RFPs and RFIs
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
• Minimum of 5 years of IT Security experience
• Comprehensive understanding of industry, state, and federal security and privacy regulations and frameworks
• Solid knowledge of SIEM solutions and Cloud Security controls
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
• Experience with AlienVault, LogRhythm, OWASP ZAP, Azure Sentinel, Nessus
• Experience with Windows and Linux Administration
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and/or NIST 800-171 is required
• Active CISSP Certification is preferred, but not required
Travel
• State wide travel will be required at times
