Emiliya Akmayeva joined the TCC Sales, Marketing & Staffing team in early April.
Emiliya is a first-generation immigrant, and first-generation college graduate. She is multi-lingual, and fluent in three languages.
Emiliya graduated with a BA in Psychology from the Purdue School of Science. During college she worked in the fitness industry, as well as in the Clinical Psychology Impulsivity Neuroscience Laboratory as a Research Assistant. Emiliya was also Vice President of Students for Development and Exploration of Space, which published some of her work.
Later, Emiliya graduated from the 1150 Academy – the coding bootcamp, with a JavaScript certificate. She worked as a tester, and Full Stack Web developer.
At TCC, Emiliya supports the Sales team with lead generation and will also support the Staffing team as a recruiter.
