The National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA) announced that their membership recently voted to fill two officer and two At-Large positions on the NARA Board of Directors from a field of eight excellent candidates. Michelle Thomas was chosen as one of the At-Large Board members.
Michelle has been a NARA member for two years with 22 years of experience in Human Service Regulatory/Licensing.
Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Social work and over 20 years of experience working in the health and human services fields at the national and state level. Her career includes a range of regulatory experiences, including direct responsibility for state child care regulations and oversight of regulatory staff. In addition, she was responsible for conducting assessments and licensing foster parents and oversaw an adult guardianship program. Her term is from January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2020.
