Let’s give back! TCC will be hosting a basic needs drive this week for the John Boner Neighborhood Centers (http://jhbcc.org/).
For the past 46 years, the center has helped near eastside neighbors to improve their quality of life by providing tools for change and growth: From financial stability, physical well-being, youth and older adult programming to education and training – they serve ALL who walk through their doors.
They are ramping up for the winter months, which are the hardest hitting months for many. Donations of hygiene products will help them ensure that people who need basic needs met will not be turned away. EVERY donation is vital to their programs and will enable them to continue to provide services.
John Boner Neighborhood Centers is determined to ensure that the overall cost of programming is minimal so that all families are able to take advantage opportunities which will help improve their quality of life. This can only be done with the generous support of individuals, corporations, and community partners like TCC.
Items needed include:
Toothpaste
Tooth brushes
Feminine pads and tampons
Deodorant
Body soap
Lotion
Laundry soap
Dish soap
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Diapers
Diaper wipes
Bathtub cleanser
Disinfectant wipes
Air freshener
