The JBSA-Randolph Tech Expo connects government and industry to collaborate on mission requirements and technology solutions. This free event, open to all JBSA-Randolph, provides an opportunity to see the latest in emerging technologies and network with industry experts.
Stop by the Vertex Solutions booth where we will showcase the AC-130 VR system. Vertex Solutions’ AC-130 virtual reality cockpit familiarization and checklist procedure part task trainer, developed for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), combines Oculus Rift and Leap Motion controllers to enable bare-handed copilot interaction with a detailed virtual cockpit. The system incorporates an intelligent tutor to provide feedback to users as they proceed through the checklist tasks.
